Your buyers / Hyperscale

Hyperscale buys certainty, in 5–20 MW blocks.

The largest cheques in the market, and the slowest to sign. They buy powered shell against a reference design, by RFP, and they will not move until power, land and delivery are proven on paper.

What they need

The numbers they walk in with.

5–20 MWper committed block

Phased against a ramp schedule, with options on the next hall.

12–24 mofrom first call to signature

Site qualification, RFP, diligence, MSA. Nothing is skipped.

2N / N+1specified, not negotiated

Electrical and mechanical topologies come from their reference design.

100%renewable-matched, increasingly

Power purchase, not just a green certificate, is now part of the ask.

How they buy

Four gates. Each one can end the deal.

  • Site qualificationSanction letters, land title, substation distance, fibre routes and flood maps, before anyone flies in.
  • RFP with a technical annexHundreds of line items on density, topology, commissioning levels and SLAs. Scored, not read.
  • Diligence and design reviewTheir engineers against your drawings. Deviations from the reference design need a reason.
  • MSA, SLA and rampCommercials follow the technical gate. The ramp schedule becomes a contractual obligation.
What stalls the deal

Where we have watched it go wrong.

01

Unproven delivery

No completed hall, no witnessed commissioning, no owner-side record of a build landing on time.

02

Approval risk

Power is "applied for" rather than sanctioned. Land has a title question. Environmental clearance is pending.

03

A thin renewables story

A certificate is not a PPA. They will ask how the electrons are sourced, hour by hour.

04

A one-off design

A hall built for everyone fits no one. Their reference design wins; yours has to explain itself.

Where 1Watt fits

Decided earlier, with us in the room.

  • Site & Power →We turn "power is coming" into sanction letters, energisation paths and a bridging plan the RFP accepts.
  • Design & Technical →We design the hall to the reference, and document every deviation before their engineers find it.
  • Delivery →Owner-side oversight gives you the witnessed milestones and commissioning record that proves you can land a build.
  • GTM Studio →The RFP response, the data room and the site visit, run by people who have sat on the buyer's side of the table.
  • Investment & Transactions →Pre-lease structures and demand evidence that let you finance the hall before the ink is dry.
