How long does an engagement take?
The AI DC Readiness Assessment runs four weeks. A Liquid-Cooling Design Review depends on where you are in vendor selection, so we set its timeline at scoping. Every other engagement has its timeline agreed in writing before work begins.
How do you scope an engagement?
In writing, before any work starts: the questions we'll answer, what you'll receive, the timeline and the commercials. The risk of scope creep sits with us, not you.
Where do you work?
India and the Middle East: the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain. The services are the same; approvals, power and compliance rules change by country, and where regulation requires a local entity we partner with locally licensed engineering firms, law firms and sponsors.
Do you design, build or operate data centres?
We don't draw or build. 1Watt sets the brief and owns design quality while licensed architects and engineers produce the drawings, and vetted contractors build under our oversight. They are paid by you, and we take no commission from them. Operations is different: we can set up the operating company and hand it over, or run it under a managed-services contract with SLAs.
How is 1Watt different from a property consultant or broker?
A broker's job is to close a transaction. Ours is to get the decision right, from the site and the power to the design, the delivery and the buyers, and to stay with it from land to launch.
You work with operators and with buyers. Isn't that a conflict?
We've sat on both sides of the table, which is why buyers trust our shortlists and operators trust our read on buyers. Every engagement is scoped in writing, and we tell you up front if a conflict exists.
What if I'm not sure what I need yet?

Do you help with certifications?
Yes. We run readiness, gap closure and audit support for ISO, Uptime Tier, SOC, PCI DSS, green building and the national regimes in India and the Gulf. Accredited certification bodies issue the certificates. See the full list →
Can I hire you for one thing, or does it have to be the whole project?
Either. Most clients start with one service line, often a feasibility study or a design review, and some hand us the project from land to a leased, running facility. See how to engage →
